Our retail stores have always been places where a reader can rush in looking for a title needed for a term paper that is due the next day, or where bibliophiles can get lost "in the stacks" for as long as they wish. A merging of the old and new is where we started, and it is where we are today. ALL kinds of books from 95 cent children's paperbacks to five figure rare and collectibles. Since 1980 it has always been about the books. We fill those orders on a first come first serve basis, but will refund promptly any items that are out of stock. We have a very active online inventory and as such, we can receive multiple orders for the same item. Please do not call the stores to place orders for Abe Books sales. Items on Abe are not necessarily in stock at our retail locations. We have over 1 Million books for sale on our website and another 1 Million books for sale in our 3 locations. The dinette converts into a second single berth.With 3 stores less than 1 hour outside the DC/Metropolitan area (1 in Gaithersburg, 1 in Frederick and 1 in Hagerstown, MD), we have the largest selection of books in the tri-state area. Off watch and in a harbor, a single berth aft on the starboard side beckons. There is ample space for storage of dry goods and personal belongings. All controls and electronics are close at hand and a large screen wiper maintains excellent forward visibility in wet conditions. You can glance upward through an opening hatch to check sail trim. To starboard, an inside steering station boasts a comfortable, contoured seat and hinged foot rest. Sitting at the dinette to port, a lower tier of windows allows you to enjoy the view.
You step down into an airy, open salon, which offers 360-degree visibility through opening windows of tempered glass. The interior is perfect for a family or two couples. Fresh air and sunlight stream through the large pilothouse windows and through polished chrome-plated bronze opening ports. Belowdecks, rich hand-rubbed teak joinery radiates in proper counterpoint to a soft white matte finish. The result is outstanding sailing performance, speed under power, comfortable motion, and superb ease of handling. The 32's hull configuration, rig and underbody are very similar to larger Pacific Seacraft designs.
